Artist with a dash of programming

Hi, I'm Hoa. I live in San Francisco. I work on video games, websites, and the occasional t-shirt design. I've wanted to make video games and comic books since the Reagan administration.

I love creating many types of art from traditional illustration, 3D modeling, web development, game design, and video editing. I'm currently a Lead Technical Artist and Graphic Design for Sony Network Entertainment.

I have a piece of paper signed by Arnold Schwarzenegger that says I am learned in the ways of Digital Arts with a focus in Game Design. (B.A. in Computers and Video Imaging with a Focus in Game design and 1 credit short of an AA in Web Developement but who's asking these days amirite?)

Inspired by Turtles and Earthworms

I started drawing Ninja Turtles in elementry school. In junior high while looking up NBA Jam codes and I happened to read about the formation of Shiny Entertainment and Earthworm Jim. Creating video games and comic books sounded like the best thing in the world to me. I dabbled in Computer Science briefly before realizing my skillset fall somewhere between art and code.

Sometimes I do things other things

I also enjoy cooking, eating, and talking about food. I make tasty Vietnamese sandwich. I try to fit in a snowboarding trip at least once a year and I pick up the guitar once or twice a month. I can play Dracula's Lament on the keyboard. Once in a blue moon you'll see me at the rock climbing gym.
